Family of Christ Church - Rochester, MN

As we begin the new year we tend to have new beginnings in our own lives. We sometimes want to go back to the basics of our lives. We want to go back to the basics of relationships, health, work and our spiritual lives. We want to begin again. At this time of the year we want a restart and renewal. This month we will start at the very core of who we are as Christians and what we believe as Christians, Jesus Christ. We will talk about who is Jesus Christ. We will talk about the attributes(characteristics) and calling of Jesus. We will talk about what Jesus Christ has done for us. What we believe and teach about Jesus goes to the heart of who we are. There are those in our world who believe Jesus to be a real person, but not God. There are many in this world who do not believe Jesus was a real person, but a character made up to rally people around a movement. There others who have made up a Jesus that Bible does not recognize or talk about. We believe in the True Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus is God and Man. We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin. We believe Jesus lived a perfect life for us. We believe that Jesus died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. We believe that Jesus arose from the dead and ascended into heaven. Finally we believe that Jesus will back again to take us to heaven with Him eternally.
